Pay Transparency

This course will provide LLM students with a comprehensive understanding of pay equity and transparency regulations, their practical implementation and enforcement. The course will cover the rationale behind pay equity and transparency, analyse key legislation and case law, and explore the challenges and best practices for compliance.

The objective is to develop a deep understanding of pay equity and transparency regulations and their impact on promoting equity and fairness in the workplace.
 
  • Mission 1 (weeks 1 and 2): Analyse the legal framework and practical challenges of implementing pay equity and transparency in a multinational company with a global workforce. Prepare a report with a country-by-country analysis, pointing main challenges and concerns.
     
  • Mission 2 (week 3): Evaluate the effectiveness of pay equity and transparency measures and propose strategies for future development and compliance. Prepare a global pay equity and transparency policy within a multinational company.
