Católica Global School of Law and Université Catholique de Lille Sign Double Degree Agreement in International and Transnational Law
Católica Global School of Law (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and the Faculté de Droit of Université Catholique de Lille have signed a Double Degree Agreement establishing a new joint pathway for Master’s students in the fields of international, European, and transnational law. The first student exchanges are scheduled to begin in January 2026.The program combines the academic strengths of both institutions and aims to provide students with advanced legal training across jurisdictions, preparing them for international careers in law, public policy, and global governance.
Each year, up to five students from each university will participate in the exchange. Católica students will study in Lille during the first semester of their second academic year, while Lille students will spend the second semester in Lisbon. Both institutions will recognize up to 30 ECTS credits completed at the partner school.
Participants will complete a jointly supervised Master’s thesis, defended before a binational academic panel, ensuring academic integration and high research standards.
Students will remain enrolled at their home institution while benefiting from full academic and campus access at the host university. Tuition and living expenses remain the responsibility of the students.
This partnership reinforces Católica Global School of Law’s strategic commitment to internationalization and to offering innovative academic opportunities that connect students with leading institutions worldwide.
