New technology tools and devices (cryptocurrencies, new payment methods, online lending, blockchain) have imapcted the world of financial transactions. To some extent, fintech operations affect the way financial transactions ar eoperated but without taking due regard to the complex legal framework applicable to these transactions. From the perspective of public policy-makers, these developments in fintech also pose a new challenge to how can the law reach these social phenomena. The aim of this seminar is to provide students with insights on the challenges and possible legal approaches to fintech in general.
