Martinho Lucas Pires is a lawyer and PHD candidate in EU law, working and researching on matters of economic law, financial regulation, and fintech innovation, with a special focus on the regulation of crypto assets, DLT and web3 businesses. He is a lecturer at Católica School of Law Lisbon and heads the regulatory policy practice of ICF, where he advises clients on the regulation of crypto businesses.
