Maximilian Berger is a common law and civil law trained lawyer, currently working on his PhD in international dispute resolution and arbitration. As part of the European Lawyers Programme, he completed his undergraduate with an LL.B. from King’s College London and an award-winning Diploma in Law from Humboldt-University of Berlin, before finishing the programme with an LL.M. from Católica Global School of Law.
After receiving extensive training in public speaking and leadership, he has been continuously working with the association be.boosted e.V. since 2022. Be.boosted e.V. is a non-profit association specialised in value-based training of rhetorics, negotiation and leadership skills. In 2024/25 he held the position of Head of Communications and held various workshops on effective communication and public speaking, inter alia at Humboldt-University of Berlin. In last year’s public speaking event organised by the City Council of Lisbon, Maximilian also gave a talk on impromptu advocacy.
At the 2025 Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Maximilian was awarded an honourable mention for the Martin Domke Award for Best Oralist. He is also head-coaching this year’s Vis Moot Team at Católica Global School of Law.
