The Graduation Ceremony of Católica Global School of Law's (CGSL) Class of 2022 was held at Espaço Restelo, in Lisbon, on June 27. It was a very happy and special day for the more than 40 LL.M. students who received their certificates.
During the ceremony, Prof. Miguel Poiares Maduro, Dean of CGSL, Prof. Tito Rendas, Executive Dean of CGSL, and Prof. Margarida Mano, Vice-Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, addressed a few words to the graduating students, congratulating them on their achievement. Prof. Joseph H. H. Weiler delivered the keynote speech, challenging students not to forget their role as gatekeepers and to always have the courage to speak truth to power.
A student representing each LL.M. program spoke on behalf of the class, highlighting some of the year's most remarkable moments and thanking friends, family and faculty members.
As the recent graduates embark on new and exciting journeys, Católica Global School of Law wishes them all the very best!
