The Tech for Lawyers Bootcamp returned this week to Instituto Superior Técnico, bringing together law students eager to explore how technology is reshaping the legal profession. Running from Monday to Friday, the intensive program combines insights from law, technology, and business to prepare the next generation of legal innovators.
Organized within the framework of the LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy, the bootcamp is academically coordinated by Professors Luís Caldas de Oliveira, Diogo Henriques, and Giovanni De Gregorio. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between legal education and the digital future.
Participants are engaging with key technologies driving transformation—such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and legal automation tools—while also developing essential skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Throughout the week, students are working in groups to design innovative solutions to pressing challenges in the legal sector. On Friday, they will pitch their projects, showcasing how technology can be harnessed to create more efficient, transparent, and accessible legal services.
By combining hands-on learning with cross-disciplinary collaboration, the Tech for Lawyers Bootcamp continues to reinforce Católica’s commitment to preparing tomorrow’s legal professionals for the opportunities and challenges of the digital age.
