Professors Benedita Menezes Queiroz and Giovanni De Gregorio were among the participants at the ICON·S Annual Conference, held at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil.
Taking place from July 28 to 30, this year’s conference, titled “At the Crossroads of Public Law: Equality, Climate Emergency, and Democracy in the Digital Era”, offered a platform to explore how legal frameworks are responding to the world’s most pressing and interconnected challenges.
Professor Benedita Menezes Queiroz took part in the opening day’s panel, ‘Legal Responses for Gender Injustice’, where she addressed the vulnerability of SOGI asylum seekers during credibility assessments.
