Católica Global School of Law and Católica | Lisbon School of Law have just renewed the cooperation agreement with Abreu Advogados and its Knowledge Institute, extending the Abreu Professorship in Law and Innovation for the upcoming three years. The Professorship establishes a cooperation platform between these institutions, focused on promoting legal knowledge and innovation.

The Abreu Professorship is a cross-cutting platform for collaboration between the two institutions, including the support to the strengthening of Católica's faculty body. Under this agreement, Abreu also sponsors the LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy, with the additional opportunity for one of the top three students from this LL.M. to undertake a professional internship at Abreu Advogados.

The protocol was signed at Católica’s Lisbon campus, with the presence of Inês Sequeira Mendes, Managing Partner at Abreu Advogados, and Luís Barreto Xavier, President of the Knowledge Institute at Abreu Advogados. Católica's representatives included Ana Taveira da Fonseca, Dean of Católica | Lisbon School of Law, and Miguel Poiares Maduro, Dean of Católica Global School of Law.
