Professor Giovanni De Gregorio is the co-author of the book Internet Law and Protection of Fundamental Rights, alongside Professors Oreste Pollicino (Bocconi) and Marco Bassini (Tuscia).

The book offers an overview of important legal challenges posed by the rise of cyberspace. Addressing Internet Law from a constitutional perspective, it focuses on how the advent of digital technologies has impacted content and data, exploring the effects in terms of protection of freedom of expression, the right to privacy and data protection. In addressing these topics, the book aims to provide readers with a background to understand the constitutional issues raised by digital technologies.

Professor Giovanni De Gregorio has been recently appointed PLMJ Chair in Law and Technology at Católica Global School of Law and Católica Lisbon School of Law. Prior to joining Católica, he was a postdoctoral researcher working with the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies of the University of Oxford.
