Emma Zimmermann
Germany

» Pre-LL.M. Experience: Prior to starting my LL.M. at Católica Global School of Law, I lived and studied both in London and Berlin as part of my double degree in English and German law. While preparing for my German state exam, I was a working student at a notary and law firm, where I gained valuable experiences in the fields of corporate, inheritance and data protection law. During my time in Berlin I was also a member of a pro bono organization called Law&Legal, where, under the supervision of qualified lawyers, I supported people who could not afford legal assistance.

» What I'm looking forward to at CGSL: I am looking forward to a challenging, yet interesting and fun academic year, while being taught by renowned experts in their field of law. Together with my amazing cohorts, I am sure we are going to have a wonderful year at CGSL!

» Interests & Hobbies: In my free time, I love to go running. Last week, I had my first surfing lesson, and hopefully I will be able to pursue this sport further while I am in Lisbon.

Fragiskos Vlasios Tsiros
Greece

» Pre-LL.M. Experience: Last year, I pursued a master's degree in criminal law at Humboldt University in Germany as an accepted member of the European Law School Network.

» What I'm looking forward to at CGSL: I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in various subjects of legal science. Through this program, I aim to acquire the skills necessary to work in European or international institutions, contributing to the development and convergence of legal theory and practice.
» Interests & Hobbies: Art, science, sports, exploring new things, and learning about the cultures of different societies.

Joselyne Garcia

Experience: Driven political scientist, International Relations specialist and lawyer, with expertise in qualitative research and decision-making mechanisms, procedures and processes; smart contract management, low-code implementations, and onboarding, of the very first technology that integrates legal agreements to NFTs in a scalable way.

» What I'm looking forward to at CGSL: My interest in completing this LL.M. stems from my desire to further transmit knowledge from generation to generation and support Ecuadorian women and girl entrepreneurs by promoting gender diversity and equipping them to face current digital changes. In the long term, I seek to contribute to developing effective public policies to guarantee digital inclusion, cooperation and promote transparency in the government.
» Interests & Hobbies: Legal tech, digitalization, web3 and politics. Dance, travel and taking pictures of sunsets.
