A team of three students from Católica Global School of Law – Catalin Pantiru, Isabela Assis, and Thandiwe Majama – accompanied by their coach, Professor Miguel Mota Delgado, qualified for the Final Round of the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition.
After an impressive performance in the regional round held in Vilnius, Lithuania, where they competed against the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Passau, the Católica team secured a place in the final stage of the competition among the top 18 teams in Europe, which earned their spot based on their exceptional written submissions and oral advocacy skills. Notably, our student Catalin Pantiru was awarded Best Oralist in the regional round – a remarkable individual distinction.
The Final Round took place at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, offering students the unique opportunity to engage directly with the practical application of the European Convention on Human Rights in an environment of the highest symbolic and institutional relevance. We are very proud of our students' outstanding achievement and the way they represented Católica Global School of Law on the European stage. Congratulations to the entire team!
