Católica Global School of Law celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2024 on June 27, marking the ending of a year’s academic journey. The air was filled with a sense of accomplishment as students, their families, friends, and Católica’s faculty members gathered to commemorate the achievements of a class that was anything but ordinary.

This year’s graduates, hailing from 30 different countries, have set a new standard for diversity at Católica. From Germany to Malaysia, Chile to Kenya, each student brought their unique culture to each class, enriching the learning experience for all.

Their time at Católica was not just about studying law in classrooms; it was about growth and exploration. They engaged in activities like the Tech for Lawyers Bootcamp, research projects, and international Moot Courts, which provided hands-on learning experiences. All of this while balancing the rigors of academic life with the pleasures of exploring Lisbon’s rich culture.

“It takes a community to learn, just as it takes a community to discover the wonders of Lisbon”, said Dean Miguel Poiares Maduro in his closing speech at the Graduation Ceremony. “And this cohort has managed to form a real community this year”.

As these graduates step forward into their careers, they carry with them not just the knowledge and skills they acquired at Católica, but also the memories of a year filled with the joy of a shared experience. Católica Global School of Law proudly sends off the Class of 2024 – a class that will be remembered for its diversity and the promise it holds for the future.
