Startup Law

This seminar aims at identifying and analyzing the main players and aspects that ought to be taken into account throughout the life cycle of a startup. In the end of the seminar, students will hopefully be able to:

  • Outline the main issues regarding incorporation and the relation between startup founders;
  • Identify types of investment and choose between them considering the founders’ and investors’ main concerns;
  • Understand the main concerns in the hiring procedures adopted by startups;
  • Be aware of the need for business protection and the existing tools to protect startups’ activity towards competence, clients, partnerships, employees and other stakeholders;
  • Understand the European legal framework applicable to startups.
