Intended to supplement the propaedeutic training, this course has the following specific goals: to cultivate and develop in students the analytical, synthetic and critical skills of the legal expert; to encourage critical thinking as to the merit of case law; to give students exposure to certain historical case law; to stimulate contact with different legal cultures; and to encourage early mastery of legal English.
