Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. At the Católica Global School of Law, he teaches Cybersecurity Law and Policy.
He is currently the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Law and Technology and recently co-edited the book Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence and the Law, published by Springer.
He is also a member of the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence, the Catholic Research Center for the Future of Law, the ALGORITMI center, Working Groups 9.6 and 11.7 of the International Federation for Information Processing, as well as EUROPOL's Secure Platform for Accredited Cybercrime Experts.
