Giacomo Antonio Lombardi is a Ph.D. candidate in Humanities & Technologies – Digital Law (IUS/21) at Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples (Italy), where he also works as a Teaching Assistant in Comparative Public Law, Internet Public Law, Public Law, and School Law. He holds a Postgraduate Master’s Degree in Diplomatic Studies from SIOI – Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale. He was previously a Visiting Ph.D. at the TILT – Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society at Tilburg University (The Netherlands), and a Recognised Student at the CSLS – Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom).
His research focuses on the legal implications of Wikipedia, the so-called ‘WikiLaw’. During his stay at the Católica Global School of Law, he will primarily examine the phenomena of Wikimedian self-regulation, with particular emphasis on the Wikimedia Universal Code of Conduct and the unsuccessful Wikimedia Movement Charter project.
