On 11 and 12 June, Católica Global School of Law will host the 3rd IBA Global Professional Ethics Symposium, organised by the International Bar Association (IBA). The event will bring together leading legal professionals, academics, and practitioners from around the world to discuss some of the most pressing ethical challenges facing the legal profession today.
Throughout the two-day programme, panels will explore topics including the impact of artificial intelligence on legal practice, neutrality and independence in arbitration and mediation, and the evolving role of lawyers in a rapidly changing social and technological landscape. Discussions will examine how innovation and digital transformation can be integrated into legal practice while safeguarding core professional values such as confidentiality, fairness, competence, and accountability.
Running alongside the symposium on 11 June, the Young Lawyers Professional Ethics Forum 2026 is a parallel initiative, free of charge, dedicated to early-career legal professionals and will also feature the launch of a new publication on professional ethics and legal practice.
We encourage our students to take part in the Young Lawyers Professional Ethics Forum 2026 and engage with the important discussions shaping the future of legal practice.
