Católica Global School of Law recently took part in the Law Schools Global League Deans’ Meeting and Academic Conference, hosted by O.P. Jindal Global University in India.

The event brought together deans, faculty members, and researchers from leading law schools worldwide to discuss pressing issues shaping legal education in the digital age. Under the theme “Law and the Digital Future: Reimagining Global Legal Education,” participants explored how technological developments, particularly artificial intelligence, are transforming legal systems and the training of future lawyers.

Professor Benedita Menezes Queiroz, Vice Dean of Católica Global School of Law, represented the School at the institutional level and LL.M. Fair.

Professor Tito Rendas presented a paper entitled “Training AI-Ready Lawyers: A Pedagogical Case Study at Católica Global School of Law,” using the School itself as an example of innovative approaches to preparing students for the challenges of generative AI.

In addition, Laura Lellau, second-year Ph.D. candidate at Católica Global School of Law, presented a paper with the title “Disrupting the Acquis: Structural Weaknesses in Copyright Exceptions Across the AI Lifecycle.”
