Today marks the beginning of an exciting new edition of the Tech for Lawyers Bootcamp. This immersive one-week program is part of the LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy and is organized in collaboration with Instituto Superior Técnico, one of Europe’s leading technical universities, under the coordination of Luís Caldas de Oliveira and Diogo Henriques.

Every year, students consistently highlight the Tech for Lawyers Bootcamp as one of the most memorable experiences of their LL.M. journey. Some of the aspects that make this week such an impactful one for students include:

• Hands-on training: Students will receive practical training with hot technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Blockchain, the regulation of which they will be discussing throughout their LL.M. coursework.
• Skill development: The Bootcamp aims to equip Católica’s students with the knowledge and skills they need to be able to competently interact with policymakers, regulators and clients in a digitalized economy.
• Innovation and entrepreneurship: Students will have the opportunity to conceptualize and present their own startup ideas, fostering both their understanding of digital innovation and their entrepreneurial spirit.
