On 24 November at 12:00, Católica Global School of Law (CGSL) and the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law will host another edition of the 'Conversations on Law in Action' series, held at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisbon.

This event will focus on the role of higher education in the face of contemporary democratic challenges: polarization, populism, and geopolitical conflicts between liberal democracies and autocratic regimes.

The distinguished panel of speakers includes experts such as Joseph Weiler (NYU and CGSL), Patrizia Nanz (EUI and BASE), Alexander Trechsel (Luzern University), and Hans-Wolfgang Micklitz (University of Bamberg). They will engage in a thought-provoking discussion moderated by CGSL's Dean Miguel Poiares Maduro.
