Lucile Marcou graduated from the Université catholique de Lille in 2023 with a Master's degree in law, thanks to a master's thesis on International Humanitarian Law violations represented in movies. The same year, she was an intern at the International Criminal Court, working at the Victim’s Participation and Reparation Section. She is currently a Ph.D student at Universidade Católica Portuguesa at the Lisbon Law School, doing research on the intersection between Transitional Justice and Cinema.
