Nuno Garoupa

Invited Professor

Nuno Garoupa is Professor of Law, the H. Ross and Helen Workman Research Scholar at the University of Illinois College of Law and the Co-Director of the Illinois Program in Law, Behavior and Social Science. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of York (UK), also holds an LL.M. from the University of London (UK). He has a long established research interest in the economics of law and legal institutions. The results of this research have been published in the top field journals, including Journal of Legal Studies, Journal of Law and Economics, American Journal of Comparative Law, Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Journal of Legal Analysis and Journal of Empirical Legal Studies among others.
