Ivar Hartmann is an Associate Professor of Law at Insper (São Paulo). Before joining Insper, he was a Professor at FGV Law School in Rio de Janeiro, where he has taught Cyberlaw, Regulation of New Technologies, Legal Data Science, Research Methodology and an innovative course called Programming for Lawyers. At FGV, he also coordinated the Center for Technology and Society (CTS-FGV) and the Legal Data Science Nucleus.
Ivar's research interests and publications cover topics of Constitutional and Cyberlaw, as well as Empirical Legal Research. Ivar holds an MsC from the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and an S.J.D. from the State University of Rio de Janeiro.
